07 Feb Divemaster Course Experience in the Canary Islands – Our First Divemasters of 2026
Divemaster Course Experience in the Canary Islands – Our First Divemasters of 2026 - We’re proud to introduce our first Divemasters of 2026: Marina, Noémi, and Daniel, who have all successfully completed their SSI Divemaster program with us in the beautiful Canary Islands. Their journey didn’t happen overnight. They progressed step by step, course by course, training by training, building solid skills, confidence, and real experience in the water.
A Step-by-Step Path to Divemaster
Each of them followed a structured progression, developing not only diving skills but also awareness, professionalism, and responsibility — all essential qualities of a good Divemaster. A special mention goes to Marina, who decided to continue her professional path and complete the Assistant Instructor course with us as well. This natural progression is something we strongly encourage for divers who want to deepen their teaching skills and take the next step toward instructor-level training.
Real Experience in Real Conditions
Throughout the program, the Divemaster Candidates had the chance to assist on courses and guided dives, gaining hands-on experience working with students and certified divers. This practical exposure is a key part of our Divemaster course experience alongside with understanding how a dive center operates day to day. It’s this real involvement that turns training into true professional experience.
Divemaster Course Experience in the Canary Islands - A Chill Atmosphere, Serious Training
One of the things we value most in our Divemaster program at Tenerife Diving Academy is the balance between a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and professional, high-quality training. The program had a great, supportive vibe, where learning stayed enjoyable — but standards always reamined high.

From Students to Dive Professionals
Seeing our candidates grow into confident Divemasters is always rewarding. They all showed commitment, consistency, and a great attitude throughout their training — and we’re excited to see where their diving journey takes them next. If you’re considering taking the step from recreational diving to the professional level, experiences like this are exactly what Divemaster training is about.
