The cost of your Divemaster Internship depends on:

How much does the Divemaster Internship cost?
Divemaster Internship costs vary depending on your experience level and training duration. As a general guide, the Zero-to-Hero program starts from approximately 50EUR per day, including accommodation. Divemaster Internship Options
We offer flexible internship structures depending on your experience:
- Entry-level divers: For divers with no or less experience who need more time to develop confidence, skills, and dive experience.
- Certified divers: For divers who already have experience and are ready for a more focused professional training path.
- Extended professional pathway: For those who want to continue beyond Divemaster with additional training opportunities such as Assistant Instructor or Instructor training.

Every diver starts from a different level, which is why we avoid a fixed “one price fits all” approach. Instead, we assess your experience and recommend the most suitable training duration so you get the right balance of training, experience, and value. This ensures your internship is focused on progression, not unnecessary time or cost.
What’s Included in Your Internship Cost
When comparing Divemaster internships, you should consider the full cost of training, including mandatory expenses such as diving insurance, equipment, and certification and agency fees, which are in addition to the course and training price.
Our Divemaster Internship fees include:
- Free shared accommodation for the duration of the program
- Real diving experience in Tenerife with unlimited diving
- All SSI Digital learning materials
- Certification fees of all courses
- All our training fees for the practical in-water training sessions, classroom sessions and workshops
- Main dive gear rental (wetsuit, BCD, regulator, fins)
- Mentorship from experienced instructors
Some items are not included in our price as divers often have them already. If you need any of these, you can rent or purchase them through us with a special discount for our Divemasters.
- Diving insurance (obligatory in Spain)
- Rental of small diving gear (boots, knife, compass, computer)
- You should have your own mask, snorkel and DSMB
- SSI Divemaster annual fee

Duration, Start Dates & Entry Requirements
We run Divemaster Internship programs all year round, with new start dates every Monday. Please contact us for current availability and to plan your preferred start date.
The duration of your internship depends on your current experience level. We will recommend the right number of training weeks to ensure you get the most value from your program. We welcome both beginner divers with no experience and certified divers from all scuba agencies (PADI, NAUI, CMAS, FFESSM, FEDAS and others).

Add a week and Upgrade to Assistant Instructor
Upgrade from Divemaster to Assistant Instructor level by adding one more week to your training. This extra week focuses on developing your teaching skills, giving you more confidence in assisting instructors, briefing students, and supporting real training sessions in the water. After this additional training, you will be qualified to teach the first part of Open Water Diver course, the Buoyancy specialty, and to take beginners on Try dives. You will also be fully prepared to continue to Instructor Training if you decide to become an Open Water Instructor.
